Hello, I'm Annette, founder of Melty Plants.

My plant journey began in the heart of Sydney, growing houseplants from a cozy one-bedroom apartment. What started as a simple hobby quickly became an obsession as I discovered the joy of collecting, propagating, and nurturing plants while experimenting with grow bag gardening in a limited urban space.

Like many people during the pandemic, I had to adapt to a new way of living and working. As my indoor jungle expanded, so did the challenge of finding space for both my growing plant collection and a functional home workspace. What could have been a limitation became an opportunity to learn, innovate, and grow alongside my plants.

Melty Plants was built from that passion. What began as a small eBay store evolved into a trusted source for plant lovers across Australia, supported by an incredible community of returning customers whose reviews, encouragement, and continued support have made this journey possible.

Now celebrating over six years of Melty Plants, I'm proud to offer a carefully curated collection of rare, hard-to-find, and collector-worthy houseplants. Every plant is selected with care, and all are home-grown and propagated by me. Each order is packed and express-shipped with the attention I'd want for my own collection.
